Award-winning hypnotist Sailesh will be performing for Pierce College students and staff on May 21.
According to MTV Europe, Sailesh is the “best hypnotist in the world.” Sailesh will be performing virtually over Zoom, an event planned by Student Engagement Coordinator, Vanessa Garcia of the Office of Student Life.
“Some of our Student Life team, including myself, got to see him [Sailesh] live at NACA [National Association for Campus Activities] Live in California,” Garcia said. “After seeing him in person, I can confidently say he is absolutely the real deal.”
Sailesh is an experienced performer with more than 20 years of experience. He’s performed more than five thousand shows at colleges, universities, clubs, corporate events and festivals.
His website stated that he’s created a legacy of diversity, innovation and profound client care that’s integrated into all facets of a Sailesh performance.
Garcia explained that students will learn about self-hypnosis, the importance of routine and time management, positive affirmations and relaxation techniques. Toward the end of the event, attendees will get to participate in a Q&A session with Sailesh.
“As an event planner, I am always keeping my eye out for good events to bring to campus,” said Garcia. “After seeing Sailesh live and seeing how amazed the entire audience was by him, I knew this was someone that we had to bring to our campus.”
Pierce College students and staff will receive an email containing either a link to the event or a Zoom meeting ID. The Student Life social media pages, on Instagram and FaceBook, will provide this information as well.
According to Garcia, Sailesh’s remote performance will be free for staff and students.
“This event will take place on May 21 at 6 p.m. on Zoom,” said Garcia. “All Pierce College students and staff are more than welcome to come.”
